Picking the Perfect Wedding Date!

Choosing a wedding date can be a very significant planning decision for many couples, and that date will have an important impact on the vibe you want to set for your big day. You may have an idea of where you envision yourself walking down the aisle or what you want your cake to look like, but until you decide what time of year you’d like to get married, you may have to hold off on planning the other aspects of your big day. You might be asking yourself, “How do I pick a date that works for everyone and is still special to me?”. For every couple, the process is unique, which is the part that makes your wedding date so special to you!

Weddings in Colorado can be beautiful any time of year. The most popular dates seem to be scattered across the autumn and spring months, with both March and October being especially well-liked. If you are planning a wedding at Lily Farm Fresh Event Center on Colorado’s Front Range, you can take advantage of some truly spectacular and mild weather, partly because of the area’s high altitude. In fact, the Front Range sees over 300 sunny days a year. Winter’s tend to be on the milder side, with an average daily temperature of 45 degrees. And summers are warm, with an average July temperature of 88 degrees.

Winter (December – March): One of the best aspects of Colorado in the winter is the snowfall. Lily Farm Fresh Event Center sets on 80-acres of open farm land and makes for a breathtaking white powdery view of the prairie in our winter months! Our brand new red barn is fully climate controlled and indoor seating is 150.

Spring: If you want to experience perfect spring weather, it’s best to plan your wedding towards the end of April or May. As the snow melts, colorful wildflowers bloom across the state of Colorado!

Summer: Out of all the Colorado seasons, many people enjoy the summer months the most. The temperature rarely rises above 80 degrees, making it an ideal climate for outdoor weddings! Lily Farm Fresh Event Center has the perfect large outside deck and covered veranda with beautiful mountain views, a ceremony site complete with a stunning pergola and a cozy fire pit for gathering with your guests and making s’mores!

Fall is possibly the most beautiful time to come to Colorado, to our Farm and to have the perfect Colorado Barn inspired wedding. You can witness the most astonishing fall foliage in the country as mountains become colored in shades of yellow and red. If you’re looking to see the leaves change during peak season, head to Colorado between late September and early October.

Lily Farm Fresh Event Center is booking 2022 fast, but we still have several prime dates available in every season! Hurry and get your perfect date picked now!
